Abstract


In this work, the focus will be placed on the relationship between society of knowledge and crisis in society including their influence on development systems in society, especially their influence on education processes. The crisis is defined as a situation ready for a change but the decision regarding that is not made yet. It formulates the question related to the future. The term of crisis is not limited only on one area of life. It connects the experience obtained from all areas of life. The organizational culture becomes the obstacle for fast development process in entire social system, including education. There are certain difficulties in determining of the term of ’Society of knowledge’. Society of knowledge represents the society in which human knowledge, expertise and ability present the most important development resource. Within Society of knowledge, human knowledge, expertise and ability become important and key factors of overall life and work and therefore those are key elements of the entire economic and social development. The basis of this society includes education, IT, innovations and socio-political system. In order to establish the Society of knowledge, it is important to point out the future. This includes the following: what kind of businesses will be active; which professions and vocations will be needed for next, planned period; what kind of family and interpersonal relationships will prevail; what kind of ethical and moral problems will appear; what kind of technology will be present and which organizational structures should be adopted.
