THE IMPORTANCE OF USING NEXTGEN TECHNOLOGIES IN CRISES IN AVIATION

Vladimir Grujić, Dragan A Lazić

Abstract

Many theorists emphasize that people live in a world that is so fast-paced and that their overall speed constantly increases. For this constant acceleration, have the greatest merit in modern communications and transportation. And among them, air traffic occupies a special place for its speed, safety, and comfort. Over 102,000 commercial flights every day take place worldwide over our heads. (Report, 2018) Of this number, about half, 44,000 flights are daily operated in the United States, (Aviation Statistics, 2020), which raises the issue of the safety of such massive air traffic. In order to minimize the risk, airlines pay special attention to the procurement of new modern aircraft. They expect to have both a high level of passenger comfort and the highest possible avionics standard. In avionics, in addition to the quality and superior performance of airplane bodies and aircraft engines, special attention is given to computers with navigation and communication devices, radars, as well as their networking with air traffic control, as well as other aircraft, etc. As a result of the activities of the United States Federal Aviation Authorities, which are also a global leader in the development and application of the next generation of technologies, aviation makes the transition from analog avionics to digital, leading to revolutionary changes in safety, security, and precision as well as environmental protection. In one word, everything that the Federal Aviation Administration has undertaken and that has taken effect in the United States since January 1, 2020, will provide a substantial shift in the quality of all air traffic to a new, higher level.
