Abstract

For Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to the European Union, certain preconditions need to be met. The transformation from a classical to an information society is one of those preconditions for BiH's integration into the European Union. By signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the one hand, and the European Union and its member states, on the other hand, Bosnia and Herzegovina has officially undertaken to harmonize its national legislation with the acquis communautaire. Article 103 of the Stabilization and Association Agreement undertakes Bosnia and Herzegovina to further develop the information society in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to gradually align Bosnia and Herzegovina's policies and legislation in this sector with EU policies and legislation. By passing the law on electronic documents at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina and both BiH. entity, the legal framework in the field of information society is being completed. Today, business communication is impossible to imagine without the use of e-mail. Due to its simplicity and speed, e-mail has imposed itself on the main form of business communication through which business documents, official correspondence and other forms of business documentation are sent and received.
