Abstract

A modern market way of doing business in the economically developed Western countries was extremely convenient for a development of automatic identification, bar codes scanning, POS development, The Track and Trace system appliance and for other uses of information technologies. Their practical appliance in all the tasks, such as: dial up, GPRS, Ethernet and other high quality tracking and tracing systems and for the “of parcel” deliveries, are important in B2B operations due to their speed, reliability and timeliness of delivery, which gives them an increased commercial advantage in the logistic activities, as well as in the service quality offered by the distributor. An improved logistic management based on “Just-in-Time”, “Vendor managed inventory” (supplies managed by the vendor), or by some similar approach, will not just minimize the supplies, but also include the relocation of logistic management either towards to the supplier or  to the logistic operator as a specialist for certain activities. The integration of these and other business applications can influence the technical choices adopted in design and configuration of managing systems, as well as the commercial strategy for supply chains promotion.
