Abstract

Nowadays, the days of technological changes, economic factors encourage us to work on ourselves, to develop ourselves, because lifetime is significantly extended as well as working life. Population aging is at the same time full of difficulties but very challenging and full of opportunities. It increases a pressure to increase public spending, but also reduces economic growth. There is no reason not to fulfil one’s specific knowledge during his professional work life, and, also, later in a retirement. Today's generation is a society of innovation, information and computerization, as well as a multicultural society eager for new modes and approaches to achieve success. It is necessary to adapt to changes, but changes are very difficult to except. If one doesn’t want to be run over by this modern time, it is necessary him to turn to new ways of learning and to acquire certain competencies. Younger generations have already been affected by the new wave of learning. Nowadays, we all work in teams and we are all a part of some kind of the team from the earliest stages of education. Creative work is an indispensable part of all institutions that want to provide greater value to their students and it is also very important to mention e-learning, thanks to which learning becomes available to everyone eager of knowledge. For all the aforementioned, the concept of lifelong learning has occurred, and has taken significant impact at people regardless of their age. The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance of the education and the benefits that lifelong learning brings.
